XMvsSF 3v3 + DHC for Fightcade v1.1.1 · Oct 12, 2026
v1.1.1 changes only the version: the same game files and build code as v1.1, so v1.1 and v1.1.1 players can play each other. v1.1 added eighteen colours a fighter, HP+HK cycling through the whole team, and a setup that holds when Fightcade starts a match from a saved state. One package for Windows, macOS and Linux: the installer and its instructions, no game data and no emulator. Give the installer your clean xmvsf.zip (Europe 961004, with xmvsf.key): drag it onto INSTALL (drop xmvsf.zip here).cmd on Windows, or use INSTALL.command on macOS or install.sh on Linux. It writes fightcade/xmvsf.zip, the whole game with three changed files, and prints a build code. Close Fightcade's emulator, rename xmvsf.zip in Fightcade/emulator/fbneo/ROMs to xmvsf.zip.original, and copy the new file in. Your opponent needs the same build code, f98f-bfea-1816-8d9a.
- 1.Unzip the package and give the installer your clean xmvsf.zip (Europe 961004); it writes fightcade/xmvsf.zip and prints a build code.
- 2.In Fightcade/emulator/fbneo/ROMs, rename xmvsf.zip to xmvsf.zip.original and copy the new xmvsf.zip in.
- 3.Compare build codes with your opponent, then try Test Game before a match.
Patch-only and hash-gated: the installer checks your xmvsf.zip member by member against the Europe 961004 set and its key, writes one new file inside the package folder and never changes your ZIP; it refuses clones, damaged or incomplete sets, a set that is already patched, and a file it would overwrite. No ROM, key or emulator is included or downloaded. Preview: tested on Fightcade's emulator source (fightcade-fbneo c959501) without its window, with scripted controller inputs and its states saved and loaded the way GGPO does. On v1.0.0's build: 35 runs, 1,128,037 frames and 18,407 rollbacks with no difference in the game state; tags, KO hand-offs, DHCs, snapbacks, Team Hyper, colours, continues and rematches pass there, and an arcade run beat Apocalypse (the test bot never won the partner battle after him); it boots and tags in MAME 0.264. On v1.1's build: five more runs for HP+HK cycling and every colour input, and a match started from a state saved on the stock game, which the build now sets itself up from. The installer's PowerShell ran under PowerShell 7 on Linux and wrote the same file and build code as the Python installer. Not yet tested: the Fightcade client, an online match, Fightcade's lobby and ranked matches, Windows PowerShell 5.1 on Windows, the installer on a Mac, and physical controllers. The third-tag reports on v1.0.0 were fixed on the test rig but not yet confirmed by the players who sent them, and the choppy snapback switch is not changed yet.
