XCOTA TAG V5 — two-player Gambit edition

1. Extract this entire package into one folder.
2. Select your clean XCOTA and Marvel vs. Capcom 1 ZIPs together.
3. Drag both onto BUILD XCOTA V5.cmd. Either order works.
4. Load output/xmcota.zip in your existing XCOTA emulator setup.

Your originals are never changed. An existing identical output is retained;
a different existing output is refused. Paths with spaces are supported.
No Python, compiler installation, ROM download or new emulator driver is needed.
The builder uses vanilla Windows PowerShell 5.1 and inbox .NET.

This edition has thirteen selectable fighters: the original ten, Juggernaut,
Magneto and MVC1 Gambit replacing Akuma, in centered rows of seven and six.
Pick two fighters per side. MP+HK tags; LK+MP breaks during hitstun for one bar.
QCF+MP+HK calls the team super; QCB+MP+HK starts timed Duo, at full meter with
a living partner. Boss team-super calls are disabled; boss timed Duo works.
Storm lightning/flight and Iceman Avalanche retain their original commands.
Normal and Harder are available, with lethal CPU boss clean contacts.
The original human whiff/block meter and Storm dash rules are retained.

Accepted inputs: clean XCOTA Euro 950331 and Marvel vs. Capcom Euro 980123.
Contents, revisions and required members identify the games, not filenames.
Wrong revisions, altered/missing members and duplicate sources are refused.
Use a complete clean set; the source archive's original key must be present.

This package contains source converters and recipes, no full ROM ZIP, key
or emulator core. Graphics and game keys are read from your supplied ZIPs.
The authenticated inherited resident alternate-palette table is preserved;
its provenance is recorded in the manifest. No MVC2 input is needed here.

The output members match the exact final build tested in MAME 0.287 with
normal menus and two Gambit/Cyclops tags. Converter member parity and refusal
checks are recorded separately. Real Windows generated-input syntax checks
pass; a new Windows game session is not claimed. No Fightcade test is needed.

Special Edition is a separate four-source RetroArch profile with Rogue,
Sabretooth and Marrow as well as Gambit. Use its separate four-ROM builder
and included RetroArch core. This two-ROM edition retains the existing
XCOTA driver and does not require a replacement Fightcade core.
