MVSC-DHC-v9.3.3 — prepared community-testing candidate

This patch-only package contains no game archive, key, emulator or save state.
Supply clean encrypted Marvel vs. Capcom Euro 980123 (mvsc.zip), either the 21
member MAME set or the same 20 members without mvsc.key for FBNeo/Fightcade.
Exact member names, sizes and SHA256 values are in MVSC-DHC-v9.3.3.patch.json.
Equivalent repacked inputs are accepted. Present foreign keys, changed members,
other revisions and already-patched archives are refused.

Windows: drag your clean mvsc.zip onto the included MVSC-DHC-v9.3.3.cmd.
Python 3.9 or newer on macOS/Linux/Windows, from this extracted folder:
  python3 mvsc_patch.py "/path/to/mvsc.zip" --spec MVSC-DHC-v9.3.3.patch.json --out "/path/to/new-output"

Python output publication uses os.link. Install on a local filesystem that
supports hard links, such as APFS, ext4 or NTFS. exFAT, FAT and network-share
behavior remain unqualified. The Windows CMD has a separate promotion path.

The installer writes mvsc_dhc_v9.3.3.zip plus its receipt; it preserves the input
and refuses existing output files. Copy the result into a separate emulator
ROM folder, then rename that copy to mvsc.zip. Keep the clean input as a backup.
Every output member matches candidate be84bb884b444886887c3ec92a5afb73fe2fac21066abaabe1bf637b909144fa; ZIP container
hashes can differ with input order/metadata/compression. A missing key remains
missing. No ROM is downloaded and no network operation is performed.

X-Factor is manual: press LP+MP+HP+LK+MK+HK together (both PPP and KKK macros
if mapped). It is available once per team, only with the last teammate alive.
Red Venom and Gold War Machine cannot use it. Normal/Orange Hulk now have a
positive speed boost; Jin keeps his native boost stacking. The sampled native
opening, active-mode and expired-mode paths are measured separately.
Resurrection is limited to Morrigan, Lilith, Orange Hulk and Roll, requiring
DHC REMIX and all three whole bars on a qualifying lethal hit. It retains
health drain and uses blue/teal presentation. X-Factor pauses that drain.
Only the active fighter's life fill changes: purple for X-Factor, cyan for
resurrection. Recoverable health is flat red; reserve fills stay warm.
Read V933_COMMUNITY_TESTING_20261005.md for exact checks and remaining limits.
This focused update retains existing routes/colors/mechanics. It does not
newly certify the entire roster or resolve older sound reports.
Combo breaker is manual: press LK+MP together in ordinary normal-hit hitstun.
It spends one whole bar for a native escape hop and 40 eligible ticks of
protection. The new native animated super background, short flash and COMBO
BREAKER text introduce an 18-logical-tick opening; this freezes gameplay and
pauses the protection timer. The stock Tech Hit sound command is enqueued.
Native UI/background/effect cleanup was observed after the sampled escapes.
Hypers, captured states, Duo and pending DHC handoffs refuse.
Holding the pair does not charge again. Lingering projectiles remain open.
This is an MVC1 adaptation, not complete UMVC3 move/physics parity. CPU-table
and diagnostic guest-clock comparisons do not establish Fightcade FPS or
eliminate every reported slowdown; community confirmation remains needed.

One package contains both DHC rules. Choose REMIX on STYLE, then DHC Classic
for the route/cancel fixes with X-Factor, resurrection and combo breaker off, or DHC REMIX
for the comeback mechanics. Every style is capped at three bars. The old
LEVEL3/5 option is replaced by RULES.

Original stock throw behavior is retained. No optional stock-grab compatibility
variant is included. DHC changes and nine colors apply to REMIX; ARCADE retains
native cancel rules and its original P/K color selection.

Prepared on 2026-10-05. Local packaging checks passed with Python 3.14.7
and the actual embedded PowerShell 7.6.5 body on macOS. Native Windows CMD,
Windows PowerShell 5.1 and Fightcade/rollback acceptance remain unverified.
This community-testing package is marked prepared, releaseAccepted:false;
publication and complete gameplay acceptance are separate from installer checks.
Eight bounded local native diagnostics bind this candidate; sound cue enqueue
is observed, but downstream audibility and host FPS remain unverified.
Read the included combined qualification and release notes for measured repairs,
retained behavior and open reports. Component-specific checks do not establish
historical sound root causes or broad audible/Windows/rollback correctness.

N41's native palette/layout research is credited in the included palette notes.
PalMod and individual indexed-palette authors retain their documented credits.
